iPad Facetime Camera spec: 1080?

Reading the specs for my 12.9" 2nd-Gen iPad Pro, Apple says of the Facetime Camera: 1080p HD video recording.

Does this mean that I'll get 1080 while using this camera for video chat, using FT, Google, Zoom, or any other chat app for iPad?

No it doesn’t. The picture will appear dimmer than normal with excessive graininess.

The low light won't stop it from being 1080 HD video. It just won't look be good looking HD video; grainy, poor color and contrast.
