Greetings and welcome to the iPad forums. There are a lot of people here who should be able to help with any question you have,
Your question reminds me of one of the things that is not mentioned when you purchase an iPad, or an iPhone, for that matter. When you press the round button to close an app and then select a second one, that first app is still running in the background and taking up space and resources. Having many apps running in the background can surely have an adverse effect on your iPad. If you double click on the round button the screen will appear to slide upward and show the apps that are running in the background. This is really convenient for switching from one app to the next one. Shutting down the running apps may take care of your problem. Double click the home button and touch and hold one of the apps that are down there until they start to wiggle. When they begin to wiggle there will also be a new round icon ninth a minus sign up on the top left corner. When you touch the minus sign that app will close, it wont be deleted from your iPad. It'll just be turned off. Sometimes there are as many as thirty programs, or more, running in the background. This surely can make your iPad not run like it used to.
Good luck. If you need further clarification about this please say.
