9to5 Mac has a heads-up (sorry!) report today about a new advertising campaign from Hearst for its new iPad-only magazine for men, CFG: Cosmo for Guys. Created by Thinkmodo, with the girl’s “iPad head†created by MTV Movie Awards makers Clockwork Apple, the spot shows a girl with her head replaced by a cube made up of four iPads as she walks around New York’s Bryant Park, and then sits reading a book, causing quite a stir as people gather round to look at her. The concept of the advert is apparently to show how the iPad-only magazine is designed to help men understand what is going on in women’s heads! 9to5 Mac explains that the actress in the video donned a special pair of video glasses displaying a live video feed from a camera hidden inside her handbag, which enabled her to see what she was doing and where she was going.
