iPad Hung on IOS Update- Help!!!

This morning my iPad Mini offered to update iOS and I accepted. An hour later it is stuck at about 33%. I have connected it to power to give it time to complete but I don't think that its going to happen.

Has this happened to others?

Any recommendations on the best way to recover?

Reset it: press Home and Power button until the Apple logo appears (again, if you're already installing). It helped me, hopefully it will work with your device as well.

Thanks, I was recluctant to reset it without asking around first. It seems to have done the job with no unwanted consequences (that I have noticed so far anyway).
