Ipad in recovery mode and not recognized by computer

Trying to help my neighbor with his ipah it seems to be in recovery mode and my computer will not recognize it we cannot set it up, it's not the computer due to the fact my iPad and 4 other iPhones all sync fine can anyone please help?

What you are going to want to do is download an app called "tiny umbrella". Run it. Click exit recovery mode and Voila, your iPad should be fine
