iPad keeps repeating songs

(iOS9) Whenever I tap a song, it will loop it in the up netxt so Ihave to clear it EVERYTIME I tap a song! Then when I tap a new song it happens again, its just really annoying and would like to turn it off.

The only explination I have is I had my songs on repeat when I updated it.

Repeating is a setting/feature in the Music app that can be selected and deselected. To stop repeating songs, tap this icon, until it looks like the one on my screenshot:
