TechNews Daily has today published an infographic which illustrates where the iPad mini stands in terms of number of pixels. The infographic shows that the iPad mini is on a level with the iPad 2, with 1024 x 768 pixels, putting it a ways behind the third-and-fourth-gen regular-sized iPads and Android tablets the Nook HD and Nexus 7. It’s really all about what you want from your tablet as to whether or not this bothers you. And let’s not forget, there are many iPad owners out there who still have an original iPad, and have yet to update it. For them, the iPad mini looks like a particularly attractive proposition. Yes the Nook HD might have a superior pixel density, but would that be the only reason you might prefer it to an iPad mini? As TechNews Daily notes itself, neither screen dimensions (the iPad mini is bigger), or pixel density tell the whole story. Interesting infographic anyway you slice it or interpret it though!
