ipad os versions

I works in IT field.

I need to support iPad users now.
I would like to know what is the first OS version of iPAD that released to public in Hong Kong? (any os version difference in different regions?)

is the first version started from 4.x.x ?

I think the first OS was 3.2 but that was the first iPads released.

There have been only two iOS versions released for the iPad so far. The Original 3.2 and the current 4.2.1

There is a beta 4.3.x version for developers as well. It will probably get a final release when the iPad 2 debuts, whenever that happens.

Their is only one iPad OS out right now. Look out for a new OS with a lot more features coming out this sometime this fall.
