iPad outbox failure

I have just joined this forum out of necessity.
My iPad tells me connection to the server failed,message has been placed in the outbox..this comes up each time I send or reply a mail.

I have the stake problem and cannot find an answer

I have the same problem too...it's AOL that is causing it.
