iPad podcast HELP!!

Hi this is this first time I've ever posted in a forum so forgive me if its not perfect!

I'm having trouble with finding podcasts I've downloaded from iTunes. I'm not completely stupid, I do check my iTunes library, I've clicked every button, I've also tried searching them in the search bar. All the downloads have been from my iPad to my iPad - no syncing between devices. Has anyone else had troubles?

Are they video or audio podcasts? Look in either your Music or Video app......hope they are there, if not let us know.
