From the iPadOS User Guide 13.5, page 10, under the section titled Prepare for Setup, it tells you what to have available, one is, “Your Apple ID and Password; if you don’t have an Apple ID, you can create one during setup.”
Can anybody please tell me how that works? What if your email account (which, as you know, is what Apple ID’s are based on) from your previous computer has become unusable, or you just don’t want to use it?
Since you’re just setting up a new iPad, it certainly won’t have an email account on it!
How then, can you create an Apple ID during Setup if you don’t have one already?
