ipad to tv via hdmi wont fill the screen on the tv

I have a ew ipad pro 12.9 2020 and i have a usb c hub from CHOETECH. I live in Spain and watch bbc via iplayer and vpn. When i first started using it it worked fine but now i cant get it to display on full screen only fills a quarter of the screen. Dont think i did anything different from when it was working ok. Also no good on euonews. it is fine if i am watching a movie from the ipad?

Hello and welcome to the forum! I'm assuming that you've already checked the settings in the problem sites, i.e. BBC and Euonews - not sure if your 'iplayer and vpn' might be an issue, sorry? Can you view these programs using another method, such as a browser? Finally, if not already done, try a 'hard reset' of the device - directions below (Source) - do all steps in order stated; none of your data, apps, or settings will be lost. Good luck - Dave

If you have an iPad without a Home button, such as the 2020 iPad Pro, you need to:

1. Press and quickly release the Volume Up button.
2. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button.
3. Then press and hold the Power button until the device restarts.
