iPad version 9 receiving email

I have iPad 9 and most apps require 12 these days
My Hotmail has stopped working and wondered if anybody can suggest an app that might allow me to work around the problem

The iPad 9 came out last year. There shouldn’t be a problem receiving emails from Hotmail with that device.

I assume you own an iPad with software version iOS 9 installed?

I’m assuming you are using Apple Mail or some other app (like Outlook) to get your email. Using the web mail client through Safari might still work.

Correct sorry for the confusion. The iPad is about ten years old
