Ipad2 And ipad air physical dimensions

I'm going to be trading in my ipad 2 for an ipad air. I'm wondering whether the magnetized cover or form fitting sleeve will fit equally well on the air.

I know the latter is lighter, and marginally slimmer.

Hi ​Penny…. - I'm planning to do the same early next year; below are the comparative dimensions of these two devices - you will have to buy different accessories - no choice w/ those 'slight' size differences w/ a major one in the 'thickness' - Dave

Don't forget that the 30 pin port is changed to a lightning port as well, so you may need an adaptor or new cables for other peripherals.
