To all Ipad2 users,

Have you encountered this on your device? I just downloaded and install "National Geographic: Ultimate Dinopedia" and when I open the app it keeps me spitting out of the game.. I tried this for about 10 times and I keep on downloading the app and installing it but nothing happens.. Please help me..

There's no other application running.. File size is 390.1MB

Please help me.. It's for my son..

I moved this to the Games section of the Forum, where I think it will receive better attention.

Have you tried a complete power-off, power-on of the iPad?

Tim

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the quick reply also thanks for moving my thread to the games section. Yes, I have tried turning it off and on and still it spits me out..

Someone please help :(

In that case try a reset.

Restart: Hold down the power button until the power off slider appears. Slide it off. When the iPad finishes shutting down, hold down the power button again until the Apple logo appears.

Reset: Hold down the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears. The iPad will reboot. This usually takes a bit longer than a restart.

And if that does not work try deleting and reinstalling the app.

Hi twerppoet,

I've already tried resetting it and after I reset it I check multitasking and close all the application after that I install Ultimate Dinopedia.. :( sad to say but It doesn't work. I've tried resetting it again and :(( please help

BTW I'm using iOS 4.3.3 ipad2 32gig Wifi/3G

What happens is: An intro screen flashes up for about 0.1 secs, and then immediately it shuts down and drops me back to the springboard.

Delete the app and reistall it again. When it is done you might try restarting the iPad again, just for the heck of it. Big apps occationally need this.

Hi twerppoet,

I've tried everything.. I'm so frustrated.. I've been looking alot of app for my kid.. he wants Dinosaur app.. Right now he's playing Dinosaur Zoo and he wants me to open the box (coming soon boxes) which I can't due to app updates..

I think iOS 4.3.3 has something to do with it, a bug in Dinopedia..

Please Help.. :(

4.3.3 should'nt be a problem, though if you think it is you could update the iPad. The dowload only option is more reliable.

The only option after deleting and reinstalling the app is a full restore of the iPad.

You aldo might try contacting the developer through thier support page and see what they have to say.

Other than that I'm out of ideas.
