IPF app not loading

i have the IPF app on my iPad 3 IOS 8.1.2, when opened the screen is just black and the word "Loading" and that as far as it gets, it does not load at all.
I have uninstalled the app several times but with the same results, so any ideas?
I can only open the forum via the Internet and not the app.

This forum had a software upgrade last Summer. Since then, the iPF app doesn't work with the forum any more. To access iPadForums, you'll have to use a browser, or Tapatalk, if you prefer apps.

If you are talking about the IPF app available on the AppStore - that app dies from the dual blows of this forum switching to a different software version and Apple switching to iOS 8. In other words, the app is no good.

The new forum software makes it pretty easy to view the forum on a mobile device (most use Safari). In addition, you could use the forum app "Tapatalk."

For now, there are no plans to update/fix the IPF app. Sorry.
