IPF app on iPad1 search problem

I was searching for a definition of respring using search on my iPad in this app. I typed in respring and there were lots of hits. I typed in respring definition and there were no hits. I searched Google in Safari and there was a link to ipadforums. So I went back into the app and entered respring definitions in the search page and found the thread I was looking for. To me it feels major that the search doesn't use singular and plural in the search. I realize that searching partial words without wild cards can be a nightmare for the person submitting the query, but the difference between singular and plural is not the much.
