Is the ipad mini worth getting

Ya it is as the iPad mini has a faster chip its smaller, cheaper and you can even access the siri

It's more faster than your iPad 2 and I suggest you to go with mini

I don't think it is really faster than the iPad 2 since they have the same chip inside.

If you have an iPad 2, the advantages you get are siri, better cameras (both front/back), the ability to get 4g/LTE (cellular model), and slightly better resolution, but lighter weight.

if comparing to your not so old ipad 2 then yes it is worth it to replace with mini but for me personally i rather get a replacement with retina display since i only use the ipad mainly for games read books magazines and watch little movies hence i prefer ipad 3 or ipad 4th although its not as convinient as the mini:o

Look at Bluetooth and few of the extra features mini has 1st line is mini and 2nd is iPad 2

I have both the 4 and the mini. I mostly use the mini...

Same here, except with the 3 and mini.

My opinion, if your iPad is mainly for home use, not really worth upgrading to a mini right now. If you normally take your iPad out with you everywhere, the mini is worth switching to.

Yes, I think I may have already stated this, but I have both iPad 4 and Mini.. I use 4 at home and in BED, and Mini when I walk out the door..

Don't think ipad2 has SIRI. I'm loving the ability to dictate my emails my mini and finding almost 100% accuracy. No more poking at the keyboard and hitting the wrong key.

Have the 3 and the mini and really only use the mini as a reader. It is perfectly sized for that but a bit too small to use as a sole internet browsing machine. Emails are more comfortable on the maxi pad as well. One does not replace the other, if I could have but one, it would be the maxi pad 3.

Thats good to know, there are times I leave the ipad at home if I dont feel like carrying it around, but the mini sounds like a good addition to the collection especially since its as fast.

Hii, friends I need ur help. I m from India. My friend is gifting me iPad mini. He is in USA. Hez gving me wi-fi+ cellular , will this device work in India with local carriers ?

It is worth it if you are mostly on it as it will be alot easier to take it with around everywhere you need to and it gets the job done. Plust just because its not a Retina dont mean its bad, remember its the iPad 2 resolution fit in a tab about 2 inch smaller.

I like mine alot.

I have an iPad 2 is it worth getting the iPad mini instead of my iPad 2?
Unless you need portability, the iPad 2 should be enough. If you are going to upgrade, then the iPad 4 is more of an upgrade than the mini. In choosing b/t the 4 or the Mini, I opted for the mini because of its size, weight and portability. It can do everything that any other iPad can do but in a smaller size. I wish it had retina display and the A6 chip that the iPhone 5 has, but it more than meets my needs as it is.
