Is updating ios 3.2.1 to ios 5 possible?

I have a first gen Ipad with 3.2.1 version . i want to update to IOS 5 .
Is possible to upadte directly from 3.2.1 to 5 , or i would have to update to os 4.2.x first and then to os 5?

You go straight to iOS5. In fact, that's the only option available, it's not possible to go to an intermediate upgrade!!
