IStore problems

I'm having problems updating apps in the iStore. For some reason, and all of a sudden, whenever I try to update an app in the iStore, my JB iPad 2 crashes. It crashes and goes into safe mode requiring a restart.
Any ideas as to how or why this is happening?


It's only been the last two weeks or so and I've never had this happen before.
I'm running OS 5.1.1

No one knows (or has an opinion) why my iPad crashes when I go to the store? Is it just that there's an app that's confliciting or screwing the whole thing up?

What Cydia tweaks do you have installed? Could you list them out?

I ask because I've never had an issue with updating apps from the App Store - so, yes, it must be something you've installed...

Thanks! I have Activator; Dashboard X; Folder Enhancer; Infinidock; OneByOne contacts; quick note; Safari Download mgr; Springtomize; Update hider; WinterBoard; SB Settings widget; BBSettings Widget; Quick Note Widget; weeTranslate widget; clock widget. And I think that is it!

Maybe it's UpdateHider (for whatever reason)? Maybe try to uninstall that tweak and then try your upgrade(s) again? Im in the dark here because, again, I've never had a problem with upgrades.

Is it all your apps or just some? Or one?

No, it's every app. As soon as I hit "ok" after my password, it crashes. I removed update hider and its still crashing.
What's your advice?

What happens if you try to do the updates via iTunes - then put them (the updates) on the iPad by syncing? Will that work?

EDITED TO ADD: I'm assuming you've done the whole "fully close the app and then do restart or a reset" process? Oh, and have you tried logging out and then back in to the App Store?

Well, I have no idea how to update apps via iTunes, all I see there is music. I was not able to log out of the iStore because I can never log in. So what I did was try to update in iStore then let the device crash, but rather than restart, I updated the apps while in safe mode. Then I restarted. It worked but I don't know how or why I can't log into the store. Something is not right. Right?
