iSwipe (A Swype-Like Keyboard!)

graywolf

iPF Noob
The Swype keyboard from android has been released for iPad and iPhone through Cydia!
Works just like Swype for android.

Slide your finger over the keyboard to each key. For some reason, it likes to ignore spaces, so you have to go in and manually add spaces, which really defeats the purpose.

I wish it would draw like android. There are no settings to configure.

Download it from here;

Or, add this Cydia repo;

You might want to edit your post to explain to people how to get it Grayson...

I am gonna get this..I LOVE those swipy keyboards..too bad you cant add spaces with the swipe but thats Ok..I assume the 5-row keyboard does not have this option

It's really annoying.

Before Swype;
Hello everybody! How are you?

After with Swype;

Swype sucks. :(

Hopefully an update will make it better.

Pretty sure you read somewhere, hopefully you did, and hopefully you will in the future, understand what you read before downloading, it's a "beta", saying might be buggy.

Still doesn't. :)
Just wait for an update.....,.

Odd, I can get "Hello everybody. How are you" if I lift off in between words, and I'm on 5-Row keyboard.
This tweak is not for me though. I'm not a swyper...

I have android phones and I just can't make my self get use to it at all. Even that I had tried in multiples occasions, it's just not for me. However a lot of people love it.

I put this on my iphone4 and it's a good start, but not ready for daily use(hence the beta.) It gets confused with words easily. It is a great start though. I have to admit when I had my Droid I loved the swype keyboard, one of the few things I miss about my Droid.

I, for one, really like swype. I had never used it before getting my DroidX but found it dramatically reduced typing errors. Dunno how it will fare with the bigger keyboard. I suspect I will prefer it when the iPad2 is in portrait view but prefer standard typing in landscspe.
