Two weeks ago, Apple has released OS X Mavericks and made it available as a free download. Also at the time, Apple refreshed iTunes, updating it to version 11.1.2. Now, iTunes is getting yet another update, being upgraded to version 11.1.3 which comes with a few fixes and improvements.

The new iTunes 11.1.3 version fixes the annoying bug where the equalizer doesn't always work as users would expect. The latest iTunes refresh also comes with performance improvements when switching views in large iTunes libraries. Here’s how the official release notes look like:

â€This version of iTunes resolves an issue where the equalizer may not work as expected and improves performance when switching views in large iTunes libraries. This update also includes additional minor bug fixes. Note: If you are using OS X Mavericks, your book library can now be found in iBooks for Mac. iTunes 11.1.3 is a free download through the software update mechanism of the Mac App Store, so you should go ahead and download the latest version to get rid of the annoying bugs.
