A couple of years ago I managed to input to my nano 460 ripped cds tracks via my then pc and itunes.
I now have a new computer and have downloaded the latest itunes programme to it.
I have ripped a cd to it and placed it in a playlist.
When I connect my nano it says it is synchronizing and I then can display the music content on it by clicking on music in the on my device section, the list shown is in alphabetical song order only when I disconnect the nano my on screen list disappears.
How do I put my new imported cd into the nano without loosing any music that is already on it.
Should not the existing music on the nano be in the play list I have clicked on music in the summery section then on sync but I am warned I will lose the ipod content if I continue.
