Itunes app store login problem

I am having trouble with login to the app store, it keeps asking me for my login P/W it will occasionally let me login and download an app, to day after downloading a free app ok I went to check installation was ok and used the app, later I went back to update skype and it will not accept my P/W. I have tried rebooting my ipad and going to settings login out of itunes the back in again,,, same problem help please

Perhaps a download was interrupted somewhere. Go to App Store - Purchased or Updates, and if you don't find anything there, then try iTunes Store - Downloads.
