I have yet another question. What app is best to jailbreak Iso 5 or is it available yet? Thanks for your help!

5.0.1 jailbreak is available with GreenPois0n's Absinthe.

5.0 has a bit of a battery problem.

Ok, maybe I jumped the gun here. Maybe I should have asked if it is safe for me to download ISO 5 now and can I jailbreak it if I do?

You all know I am a noob! Lol

5.0.1 jailbreak is available with GreenPois0n's Absinthe.

5.0 has a bit of a battery problem.

Update it to 5.0.1 using iTunes. Then jailbreak it using Absinthe.

5.0.0 (usually referred to as iOS 5.0 or iOS5) had a slight battery draining problem regardless of how you tried to tone down the battery eating

Hi.
When you have a tethered jailbreak, you will not be able to run Cydia Apps or Tweaks can you do a restart/reboot. You can only run them again if you do a tethered boot.

When you have an untethered jailbreak, there will be no consequences, you can reboot/restart without having any problems starting your applications again.

With that said, Untethered is better.
