Key pad problems

On my mini iPad, the key pad has started to move halfway up the screen when I want to type. Very annoying as it often obliterates the information I need.
I can't find a way to move it back.
Any ideas? Thanks!

The next time this happens, tap and hold the bottom right key with the picture of a keyboard on it. Slide your finger to the dock button in the pop up that appears. Your keyboard should move back to the bottom of the screen.
