keyboard not responding

just started, keyboard on screen is not responding, what did I do. thank you all

Try a reboot. Hold home and power buttons until the Apple logo appears, then release and wait. That usually clears problems up. If it doesn't it might be necessary to do a restoration to factory settings, and if that fails, you have a hardware fault.
