Laugh Of The Day

Doggerel alert: Those adverse to bad verse should skip the rest of this post.

Somedays are flowery verses,
others are stinky curses,
but the days that are the worses
are the ones when we need nurses.

Take care.

Next experiment, I put it to a catch tune so you can't get it out of your head. :D :D :D

Why, because I'm just in that kind of mood this evening.

Don't you dare!! Geez, that verse was bad enough;)

You're complaining about this excellent piece of poetry? ;-)

No, I'm an admirer, actually very much
But, you see, unfortunately as such
It turned me into a laughing fool
When over my iPad I did drool!

Nice! :-)
Perhaps we should change this thread's title to "Rhyme of the day".
On the other hand: this would be a disadvantage for me. ;-)

I'm off to search the next count-the-dot-like picture... :D

To carry on the theme, here's one I found.

There was a young Scotsman named Fisher
Who was fishing for fish in a fissure.
Then a cod, with a grin,
Pulled the fisherman in.
Now they're fishing the fissure for Fisher.

Oh I do like that and in that rhyme tempo! I have a few, but they're quite rude which wouldn't last very long here;)

I found quite a few Scottish limericks and this was the only one that was suitable for this forum.;)
