All I can think of is that there were things in that area over the years that the maintenance crew had to work around. You'd think they would plug some of those up or something.

That's a good one sci. Quite artistic actually. Is it in Regina?
Just on the topic do you find in your neck of the woods, when you drive exactly in the centre of a marked lane, your car's tyre will exactly hit a manhole cover: seemingly exactly designed that way? Rarely do I see these utility covers in the centre of the lane where one's car can smoothly straddle them.
Have others experienced that?
