Speaking of squirrels and peoples perceptions of "wildlife."I was in town one day and noticed some visitors delightedly watching a critter mooching around a ditch by the road.So sweet so clever how beautiful!They asked me what I thought it was?It's a Norway rat I declared.They came over on ships to the New world.Such a change in their attitude.In a split second a complete change.Absolute horror. same animal same cleverness but just a name sent them retreating in disgust.I thought it was so funny.
