Hey Paul,

Opening a file from dropbox via Docs2Go is way easier. Open your docs2go app , click "online files", then click the "+" icon on the upper left. you will then see options. from google docs, box.net, dropbox and etc. just choose which one you like. enter your username and password. every time, you need to download a file. just click those.

Thank you for yr reply. Now my main questions is I cannot fine the " on line files " it is possible for you to post a screen shot ? As I think you have a diff ver as mine. Any way thank you for yr sharing.

Hi joy , many thank for you to give me the screen shot. Now I understand that you are using diff app from me , I am using the free apps which also have quite the same name as your . So It is my side have to decide what is next.

May I know how long for you to take to post the above screen shot to me ? And are using it from iPad alone ?

Very easy maybe 10-15 minutes max. Everything was done in my iPad took the screen shots, manipulate the images using photo pad app, upload in photo bucket then posted them. All apps are free

Did you JB your iPad ? Because I check the apps on doc is charge in app store how come you can hv it free ?

You must have them mixed up. I jb my iPad, but I paid for my docs2go app.
The free apps I mentioned were photo pad app and photo bucket app.

For drop box can I just confirm :-

1. If I create a folder named as "salary file" which put my confidential file, no one will be able to view those file right ? Unless other people have my login password and ID .

Paul, I can confirm that, unless they have your login info or you specifically share it, mo one else can see or modify your file.

Thank for your sharing. After a week travel and I need to submit my travel exp rep in excel I find it so trouble some with iPad . So end up I still use pc to prepare report.

As look like I need to buy one in order for me to write my report using iPad.

By the way does the apps allow me to print my doc to my office printer?

i bought the documents to go , i havent tried on printing it to the printer.

i'll try it when i get home.

Printing with Documents to go:
first, I send the file to my own e-mail address. On my PC , I opened the file. Downloaded it and printed it. Here are my observations , if you download it directly it will come out as an adobe file ( maybe I missed something). if you open it as a google spreadsheet first , if you download it you will be given options to save it as HTML,XLS and etc. I recommend opening it in google spreadsheet first.

Other members here may have more experience printing with Documentd to go. Please share.
