Lose Official VLC after Jailbreak?

Hello,

I have an ipad(ios 4.2.1) that has not been jailbroken. I was able to download and install the VLC app while it was available from the Apple app store.

I would now like to jailbreak my ipad. My question is that when/if I decide to restore my ipad (i.e. un-jailbreak it) Will I be able to restore the VLC app from my itunes library to my ipad?

Yes. Should be fine.... as long as it is in your iTunes library you are fine.
