How do I avoid my kids getting access to my mail accounts (Exchange and Gmail) egen they are using my iPad2 for e.g. playing games? As I understand, it's not possible to have a password for the mail app.

The only way that I'm aware of is to temporarily disable the accounts in 'Settings', 'Mail, Contacts, Calendar', 'Accounts' and remove the password. Although they can re-enable the account, they won't know the password.

Ok - thanks! I hope iOS5 will come with a better solution.

There is an app called Better Webmail that can be secured. I've never used it, but you might look it over to see if it will meet your needs.
