Make my ipad think its connected to wifi??

Ive got a 64g wifi+3g jailbroke ipad 2 with a 15g data plan and want to use it to watch 4od ect, but i am using 3g when i need wifi connection, is there anyway i can use an app or something to make it think its on wifi? Or possibly connect to a hotspot i have made?? Any help would be appreciated thanks

You would need to fool the card into thinking its connected...no app that does that afaik

Install 3G unrestrictor from Cydia. This does what you want. It fools apps into thinking they are running on wifi.

One important note. If your 3G speed sucks, the apps performance will suffer.

Yep, 3G Unrestricter will do it.

good for being able to download apps from the app store over 3G that are larger than the apps store allows over 3G.
