Map app fonts

Is there any way to increase the font size for the iPad (google) map application? These microscopic fonts are incredibly annoying.....

Typically on iPad you just zoom in with the two finger spread apart method. This may help.

It readjusts the fonts back to tiny after you zoom.......

If you go to Settings > General > Accessibility you can turn on the Zoom feature. It will not adjust the fonts.

The gestures and what they do are explained on that settings page.

I know that is not what you actually asked for, but there is no way to increase the font size in the Map app.
