None of the iPads have a sd slot.
Purchase a model with as much memory as you can afford.

There are also wireless pocket sized sd memory devices that currently support up to 32 gb memory cards.
I also run a seagate 500 gb wireless Bluetooth drive. They call it a go flex.

The Air Stash supports cards upto 2 TB, but the largest you can find is 128 GB. The fat32 limitation of the Air Stash means the largest file size it can support is 4GB, though. So movies must be less than this size to be played on an iPad.
