Missing artwork ipad2

I have upgraded to ios6, the artwork was there after the upgrade. Just vanished later. If I look at my albums library there is no artwork, if I open an individual album the artwork is there, in playlists it is all there, only when being viewed in library. Anyone got any ideas? Thinking of deleting everything and re downloading, but a bit nervous to do this, nothing ever goes my way.

Do a full backup first, and if possible, backup those photos as well as the full backup just incase the full backup misses something

Will give it a try thanks. The artwork is on the iPad, just not showing when I view the library, any other view and its there!!
