Missing e-mail

I spent a while typing an email and hit send, I then realized Ihad no network connection. Unfortunatly the e-mail disappeared. It was not in my sent folder nor any other place I could find. Any clues on how I could recover a document in such a case?

Welcome to the forum! There are a lot of great people here willing to lend a hand anytime. Often using the search feature (in the toolbar at the top of every page) will lead you to the answers you're looking for. If not, feel free to post a question in the appropriate area.

Please take a moment to view the information linked below my signature to get the most out of your iPad as well as our forum.

Unfortunately the odds are the email was lost. It's possible it was saved in your Drafts and/or Outbox (have you looked...it sounds like you have). It might be available the next time you connect and that may be dependent on the type of email account that you have.

Others may have some additional ideas. Hope it works out...I know how frustrating it can be to lose an email (although the only time I've had that happen was with Windows ;) ).

BTW, I moved your post to the iPad Help area where you're likely to get a better response to your question.

Welcome again and enjoy!

Yes - as Gab said, it should sit happily in your OutBox until the network is available again and then send itself without any intervention from yourself. Once it's successfully sent, then you'll see it in the Sent folder, of course.
