Missing folder after iTunes sync

I have an iPad 2, and have my apps organized into folders. After my last iTunes sync, one of the folders is missing off of the home screen. When I search for the apps, they are all there, listed in the folder, and I am able to open them. I'm assuming somehow the folder got "hidden", but I can't figure out how to unhide it. My restrictions are off in settings. I have done a reset, but no luck. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Have you tried to delete one of the apps that you cannot locate unless you "search" for it?

Go to general/usage/storage and find one of the apps that you want to delete. Then re-install and see if it shows back up on your iPad.

Also, do you have any apps that purposely hides your apps? ....or...is your iPad jail broken?
