My iPad 3 with the OtterBox Defender.... Best protective case ever!

I just received my OtterBox Defender for my newly acquired iPad 3.. Ever since I used OtterBox for my phone, I have not been disappointed with them, so I thought lets give the OtterBox a try for my iPad seeing as the flimsy one at the Apple store is somewhat disappointing judging by the reviews. I want my iPad to stand, and I want it to be well protected. OtterBox was the way to go. And boy was I impressed with the case! The stand is very nicely designed, holds the iPad up really well and not only is it a stand, its also both a cover for the front or back! Incredible! The built in screen protector is a very nice touch and I have no problems with it. Retina display shows up just as great with or without the screen protector. Overall, it was well worth it and I recommend this case to all iPad owners!

Try nude case made by lifeproof much better than outterbox defender

No doubt the one from LifeProof is impressive, its especially awesome that it is waterproof... But it cost a lot more too because of that. I have no intention of taking my iPad to the water, so I think I'll stick with my OtterBox

The one from Lifeproof is impressive due to the fact that it is waterproof... But it cost a lot more too because of that. I have no intention of taking my iPad to the water, so I think I'll stick with my OtterBox

its more than a water proof its shock proof and dirt proof aswell and 40% thinner than outter box

Yes indeed.. But its just too expensive when compared to the OtterBox which serves its purpose. I like the fact that it makes my iPad feel solid as a tank! Hahaha

I too got a otterbox case for my new IPad. To me it makes it feel less fragile than without it.. I think $140-$150 for a case is a bit to much when you can buy an otterbox for around $65 on amazon.
