My ipad2 crashes if I try to open anything.

Well J A it is nearly midnight and the iPad is much better. I had to switch off 'find' my ipad' on the iPad in order to re set. This was impossible as I only had a nano second to work in iCloud settings before it crashed. BUT whilst my iMac and iPad were connected I deleted some apps and also switched 'Automatically Back Up' to icloud off and 'synch with ipad over wifi' off for a bit to see if it helped. I now seem to only crash whilst using the Facebook app.

I will continue to fiddle tomorrow - a huge thank you for you help and guidance.

Sounds like progress.

The Admins on this site are very good.

If it was my iPad I'd try deleting and then re-installing Facebook.

I can't even open settings without it crashing. I have no apps opne although some need updating I'm sure. I use iCloud to synch with my iMac.

Any help much appreciated.

Reset it to its factory default.
