Hi
I have seen couple of teachers on this forum, hopefully you can help me, my 9 years old son is on special ed, non verbal. I ask our SD to use IPAD for his communication and use Proloquo2 go, and the SD is saying its not efficient, they want to use IPOD touch with a application called ICONVERSE with 10 pictures on it. SD is arguing IPAD is too big and not the efficient way for kids to use for communication. I dont agree with them at all. I would appreciate any help from the members to fight my case with SD?

Thank you
Shiva

I have a nine year old autistic son, he uses the iPad for communication. He is a whiz at it. He is also non-verbal.
I purchased an App called picturecantalk, it is very cumbersome.
I am reviewing iPrompts XL. I have had his team at school review it and they like it too.
I will purchase it in the near future.

iPod is just too small. The only downfall with iPad are all the entertainment apps.
