Need something more powerful than MS Outlook's Notes. Anyone using Evernote?

Also, Notes doesnt sync with my IPAD, which is a major pain.
I am using Outlook 2010.

Do any of you use Evernote and if so, does it integrate with Outlook? I really dont want to have to use an entirely different interface/GUI, just for my note-taking.


Any other thoughts are welcome.

No, Evernote does not integrate with Outlook.

It does, however, come with an email address. Anything you can email from Outlook can be sent to Evernote. You can even specify notebooks and tags in the subject line. There are a multitude of tools, plug-ins, and othermethods for adding content to Evernote. These and the ability to access your content just about anywhere make Evernote a far more powerful tool than it would be if it were simply something that synced with Outlook.

The basic account and most of the apps are free. Just get it and give it a try.
