Netflix on I Pad 2

Hi, was thinking of getting the apple adaptor that would let me mirror my Netflix output via HDMI to my HD tv. Does this work o.k., and if so, what sound output would I get? (I have a surround sound amp) Any advice would be appreciated.

I just started my Free Trial of Netflix on my Ipad2 so far I am liking it might have to pick up the same set up though I want more!! Ha ha..
