Okay, I'll admit it, I was trapped into this whole thing by my son. He gave me his old iphone and I was a gonner. I purchased an Android tablet and was more than unhappy with the silly thing. After really "looking" at the ipad my sweetheart, bless her, said, "get it, we'll find uses for it." Oh was she ever right. Back to the phone to my son and a ipad2 (refurbished) is mine forever, to my lasting joy and the only way you are ever gonna get it is to pry it out of my cold, dead, fingers. (Sorry about that Wayne)

Okay, so there is a problem, after a great vacation, lots of fun and lots of pictures, is there any way in the world to get rid of the hundreds of pictures on the camera roll that are now taking up a TON of space and beginning to cause some "major" problems? I've looked but to no avail so now I've come here, joined and am hoping. Looking forward to learning more.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Great intro! Getting rid of these photos will depend on how they have been downloaded to the iPad in the first place. If they have been synced with your PC they will need to be resynced to be rid of them. If they have been downloaded direct from your camera by way of the camera connection kit they can be deleted straight from the iPad.
You do this when in the photo app, hit the arrow thingy top right corner, select the photos to be deleted then hit delete top left. If from your pc have a look here, look for F4780y's post
