New but learning

I am new to this Forum but have already learned a LOT. I am 61, or will be in February, and my iPad 1st Generation was a gift from a daughter and son-in-law 2 years ago. I didn't even know how to turn it on back then but my 1 year old granddaughter was happy to show me!!! Now, I use this daily and have my eye on a newer iPad in the future. I have been married to my husband since 1971, have 5 children and 16 grandchildren - all extremely "tech savvy." I enjoy Facebook, Words With Friends, Hanging With Friends, Scramble With Friends, Whirlyword, Jumbline 2, going on cruises, crocheting blankets, reading, cooking and learning more about my computer and my iPad. I have a son and his family living in Doha, Qatar and a daughter and her family living in Germany so this technology is my daily connection to them, and others. Is this enough introduction or WAY to much?

That is a perfect introduction.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend.
