New guy

Hello Folks,
I'm a retired senior guy with a new toy and hope to get more use out of it through this forum. I am interested in what prgms like " jail break " will allow me to do and it would be nice to find a way to dwn load email attachments that use adobe....

Welcome to the forum! Jailbreaking is not for the weak of heart or the noobie. I'd become educated on the subject before attempting without a little help. There is a hacking thread on the forum. Read through the jailbreak threads and see if it still apeals to you afterwards.
