New IPad user

Hi, hubby bought me my first IPad a couple of weeks ago. I love it but have so many questions. Looking forward to using this site often...
Would like to know how to use Safari better. Also how to send to print?? I have hp officejet j6400 all-in-one printer but have heard that with app it can print. Anyone know how to set this up?
