New member-ipad crashing, anyone experiencing this problem since last night?

Hi all

Something weird is happening since last night..safari is frequently crashing...the back button is taking me out of safari I get a brief black screen and then to the main apps view

Something with FaceTime and even Stanza


Is this an iOs5 problem.
.
Am I doing something wrong?

Try a hard reset: Hold the power button and the home button down at the same time until you see the Apple logo. About 10 seconds or so. Let it reboot. See if this helps!

Welcome to ipf,

This problem could be because you have too many apps open. To fix this, double tap the home button, hold an app till it starts quivering, then click the red no entry sign to close.

Thank you for your suggestions

I installed the latest software update...iOS 5.0.1 and hey presto, all was well

Which probably achieved the same as a hard rest.

I did close all apps down before i posted here, but that didn't help unfortunately
