Hello to all at the ipad forum. I am a new member not only to this forum but to ipad as well. I have been a windows user for the past 16 years and not familiar with Mac's. I travel quite a bit in my job and found that carrying documents was becoming quite heavy. I have been noticing that lots of people were using ipad to carry their documents, which was much more convenient, so I decided that was the way to go. I bought myself an ipad 3 weeks ago and i find it very fascinating. I happed to be asking a colleague how to do some of the things I wants to do on the ipad and it was during this session that he mentioned that it would be a good idea to join the forum as he foind it very useful and friendly. As far as being computer savvy(windows) I would consider myself intermediate, however with Mac I am a beginner. I am 50+ years so I am not as hip as the youngsters but I am interested and willing to learn. Looking forward to the forum. Papasito.

Welcome. I too was like you, but back when the iPad1 was released! I was still wedded to Windows up until recently. Enjoy your new device, and the forums :)
